Hack 3A's to Success
The cognitive distance between the anticipated and achieved outcome decides one's perception of success or failure of a given Action. No matter which route we take to increase our chances of succeeding in any given task will always follow 3 A's.
Awareness - "necessity is the mother of invention"
Noticing necessity of a solution builds a premise to set an action in motion. Easier said than done in a fast pacing virtual life. Nevertheless not impossible, it is a practice of being Consciously Aware most (or some) part of the day. Human brain has been taught to run on autopilot under routine schedule, simple tasks like brushing your teeth or locking the front door is simply muscle memory than actually thinking about it. We seldom use our brain to its adequate capacity throughout the day.
Intermittently giving ourselves a jolted check to consciously open up to a regular task however miniscule it might seem at the time, will program our brain to cognitively comprehend a routine into an immensely heightened experience.
Test this theory by conscious eating, watch the food served on the plate for 10-15 seconds, and without being distracted by environment around you, try to identify the emotions you feel while you imagine tasting the food in front of you. Put the food in your mouth and close your eyes. Your heightened sense of taste will be able to identify each ingredient and every flavor with their individual dominance. Jim Kwik says that merely brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand can unlock superbrain.
As we practice being consciously awareness, it will become effortless to notice and observe the changes and opportunities around us. Things that might need to be done differently and subjects needing our attention.
Awareness or noticing brings our attention closer to psychologically deduce a situation and acknowledge the necessity of creation.
Action - "an idea without action is just a dream"
Recognising an enigma and theoretically solutioning is the first step; however not tangible enough to weigh its outcome without Actionable steps in motion. Solutionizing with trial and error model gives a learning experience with combination of premises involving a conclusion of necessity.
Simon Sinek says "Start with Why" we often mistake our short term yearning as our goals. Goal is an unmovable target or mission which is the end destination, howbeit as Vishen Lakhiani says, "Get rid of the means goals to find why you begin this journey at the first place". Means goals are short term "means" to reach the end goal.
Test this theory by asking yourself the specificity of end goal. "What's that you desire?" My mom says, "I want to be happy" but what will make you happy - Is it owning your own house, is it a fat salary, is it a nobel peace prize. Consciously dwell into your reasons and pull out the specifics that can be visualized in your lucid dreams, feel the emotion as if its real and ask yourself if that specific dream you shaped is your end goal. And if you find the blueprint of your destination, it will navigate itself through various means to manifest into your reality.
Accountability - "action without accountability has no virtue"
With accountability comes the responsibility of ownership. Succeed or fail, the outcome teaches a lesson for life, not only by shaping untapped potential but also by adding timeless irreplaceable experience.
Mistakes are learning opportunities and should not be mislabeled as failures. Failure is successfully learning to separate undesired outcome by shifting our perspective and diving into unexplored trail to hit desired intention.
Success is only a perception, it's the impact of the journey and the influence of each and every individual surrounding us, that shapes us into who we become, and bring us closer to our end goal inch by inch with every awakened experience. Keeping ourselves accountable for our actions and be consciously aware of our choices will not only will help us elevate our experience to this journey but also will contribute to the society to make it a better place.
Test this theory by staring into your mirror reflection and looking into your own eyes. Calm your mind by breathing in and out while repeating positive affirmations in your mind. Remind yourself three things you are thankful for, and convey a heal prayer for everyone on earth, such as "May everyone be free of suffering". Starting your morning with this ritual will bring a feeling of being grateful for what you have and devise unconditional self-love, which in response will trigger oxytocin, boosting your mood and hence productivity for entire day. Evidently success is imminent.
